With the advent of globalization and opening up of Indian Economy to outside world it has become inevitable to produce skilled workforce for healthy growth of industries in order to complete with world market. Keeping in view this aspect, Mithilanchal Industrial Training Institute is going ahead in its endavour to expand the skill manpower pool of our country. It also aims at pouring its manpower to outside country and to be a world leader in providing cutting edged multi skilled workforce. As such, the Institute has sky- rocketed over the years in moulding its trainees to cutting edge skill by its versatile highly experienced teaching staff, able guidance of the Principal and time to time guidance of the Director of Technical Education & Training.
Mithilanchal Industrial Training Institute is one of the premier Institute of the State situated in the eastern part of Bihar on a sprawling campus adjoining to N.H-5, just at the entrance into the Mithilanchal city. This ITI was incepted during 1958-59 with 11nos of trades having 200 no’s students. Subsequently it was expanded and at present there are 21 trades with 126 units under Craftsman training scheme having student strength of 2569nos. This Institute was upgraded to Centre of Excellence in Production & Manufacturing sector by Govt. of India with a new vision to provide multi skill work force in order to cope up with the Modern Industrial Scenario emerging around the Globe.
This Institute has large workshop equipped with all types of high end machineries & equipments like CNC Profile Gas Cutting machine, CNC Turning/ Milling Machine, Submerged arc welding machine etc.
In order to update skill of the trainees this institution has made MoU with Toyota Kirloskar Ltd., TATA MOTORS and with Maruti Suzuki. Toyota Kirloskar has installed one modern paint booth in Automotive Paint repair workshop. Under this scheme two trades such as Automotive Body Repair and Automotive Paint Repair courses have been introduced. TATA MOTORS Ltd. has provided machinery and equipments for wide exposure of skill of trainees. This Engineers of the Company are imparting practical training to the trainees.
As it is inevitable to make computer literate to all trainees in one IT lab with 40 computers having internet connectivity with 8Mbps lease line is available. One CAD/CAM lab is available to train the trainees as per the industry requirement. To develop communication skill of the trainees, the institution provides a well furnished modernized Communication & Personality development Lab which is rare of its kind. Beyond traditional method of teaching, this institution has one SMART CLASS room with Interactive Smart Board which provides visual method of teaching.
